Voicu Mihnea Simandan was born on May 19, 1978 in Arad, a city in western Transylvania in Romania. Ever since he was a little boy he loved to read and, later on, to write. He has published non-fiction and fiction in numerous newspapers, magazines, and blogs from around the world. Mihnea has been a teacher since 2000, having taught English in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His passions include traveling, aikido, and archery. He is married and lives in Bangkok, Thailand. He also writes at www.mvs.ro.
