Agrafena's Children

Agrafena's Children, a history of the old families of Ninilchik, Alaska, has been scanned, slightly updated, reprinted, and is available for purchase below as the Second Edition. The page numbers are the same as in the First Edition which was sold in 1993-1994.

You can download the entire book for free as a PDF file, but you will want to use high speed Internet access because the file is huge, 750 Megabytes. If you want a customized book with updated information on specific pages of the book, email your information and/or photo scans to the email address below then wait for confirmation that the book has been revised with your information before purchasing it. Please include the number of each page where you want updated information. For now we are not adding new pages to the book because that process would take too much time, unless someone wishes to volunteer to retype the entire book. It may take a week or so before your updated information can be included in the book.

Please keep sending updated information and photographs (emailed scans are fine) to the email address below. Some day, probably several years away, we want to update the entire book with many more pictures and better print quality.

This book is intended for the private use of the descendants of Agrafena. The book is not being sold at amazon.com or any other large bookstore. If you wish to sell the book at a local store where our family members shop, that is fine. Lulu Press offers discounts for ordering in larger quantities.

There are some other ideas for Ninilchik books that can appear here, also. So keep checking back every few months. And if you want to publish a Ninilchik book and have it sold here, send your book idea and a computer file of it to the first email address below. To keep prices as low as possible, there are no profits made from any books sold here at the Ninilchik Bookstore, so if you want to make a profit, you can open your own Lulu bookstore and set your own price for your book.
