The Nisargadatta Gita is a non-profit publication which contains the essence of the teaching of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. It has only one chapter ‘I AM’ which consists of 231 condensed quotes of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj along with a short commentary on each quote. These quotes have been prepared from a collection of 572 ‘I AM’ quotes compiled from the 10 main books (Beginning with ‘I Am That’) that cover almost all the recorded dialogues of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj.
This book is to be used for 'Namasmarana' or remembering the name of God. By ‘Namasmarana’ or remembering the name of God you abide in the ‘being’ or the ‘I am’ and become one with God.
"On many occasions I had been asked to describe the teaching of my Guru Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj in its most essential form, this book is an outcome of that effort.
I have added another section titled ‘Netlogues’ which is a selection of correspondence through e-mail I have had since the publication of ‘The Nisargadatta Gita’ in February 2008. I have received several mails from all over the world but I have included only those that I found to be interesting and of some value to the spiritual aspirant."

This small text was prepared in one sitting of about and hour or so. It is primarily meant to be used as a daily reading at least once at the beginning of the day in order to get stabilized in the ‘I am’. If one can do it more number of times it’s all the more beneficial. I believe that those who go through this text are already familiar with the techings of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. Even if one has not read anything about him it will in some way inspire him to know more about Maharaj and his teachings.This is a non-profit publication.
