Welcome to Owlblink Bookcrafting Company's Lulu store!

Owlblink Bookcrafting Company is a small organization of people devoted to writing and designing books concerning many subtle, mystical, and recondite topics, including Traditional Witchcraft, Folklore, Supernaturalism, and reconstructed or revived Pre-Christian European organic religions and spiritual traditions. These include the often-dreaded or misunderstood esoteric wisdom traditions, whose arcane languages became the basic alphabets of what is normally called "folklore" today.

We are a small coventicle of "hoods from the woods"- modern pagans and mystics who care little for the so-called "new age" movement, and who draw a more mature breed of inspiration from personal introspection, contact with remnant living mystical traditions from Europe, folklorists and other informants, literature and research, from the spiritual presences that even ancient peoples knew, named, and revered... and finally from our travels around the broad world that we all share.

Our journey has led us here, to create books that inform, challenge and delight the mind that seeks for curious lore and the obfuscated wisdom of the ages.

Indo-European Mystical Visions

We have published a single title in our "Indo European Mystical Visions" series, a series which focuses on reconstructions of Indo-European Germanic and Celtic pre-Christian mystical arts and practices. Our published title, HELSONGS , a complete manual of Northern Sorcery, including Rune-Sorcery and Seid-work, is available here. Within a few weeks, Robin Artisson's first-ever written manuscript will be brought to life in its first volume- "The Flaming Circle", a reconstruction of the religious beliefs and pre-Christian spiritual worldviews of ancient Britain and Ireland. It will be published through another press, however. More details can be found at this page.


Traditional Witchcraft and Folklore

The "Traditional Witchcraft and Folklore" series contains Robin Artisson's most famous works, works on Traditional British Isles Witchcraft and relevant folklore. "The Witching Way of the Hollow Hill", first published by Robin through Lulu, is still available here, but also through Pendraig Publishing and Amazon.com. Pendraig also sells "The Horn of Evenwood", Robin's second work on Traditional Craft (it is also available at Amazon) and soon they will sell "The Art Veiled in Shadow", Robin's next expected book project. Here, we offer a deluxe hardcover edition of "The Witching Way of the Hollow Hill" in 6 X 9 format, with a dust cover, and a 6 X 9 softcover edition.

Owlblink, working through Lulu, will publish these two titles and keep them available here, for the forseeable future. Pendraig Publishing, as mentioned above, has also recently published an edition of "The Witching Way of the Hollow Hill" for those who wish to obtain one from them- excellent quality and excellent folks.

HELSONGS is a manual of the Sorcery of the Northlands, for serious and dedicated practitioners. It is a guide to experiencing the Rune-powers, the great Mysteries of the Northern peoples. It is also a manual for the practice of Seid, the mysterious sorcery of the Vanic powers, an earlier form of trance-based mystical practice that was found in the dark forests and mountains of northern Europe.
