We are happy to have a store here at this press, and happier still to offer you our new products, products that are of the highest quality that we've ever made available.
Owlblink Bookcrafting Company is a small organization of people devoted to writing and designing books concerning many subtle, mystical, and recondite topics, including Traditional Paganism, Folklore, Witchcraft, Supernaturalism, and reconstructed or revived Pre-Christian European organic religions and spiritual traditions. These include the often-dreaded or misunderstood esoteric wisdom traditions, whose arcane languages became the basic alphabets of what is normally called "folklore" today.
We are a small coventicle of "hoods from the woods"- modern pagans and mystics who care little for the so-called "new age" movement, and who draw a more mature breed of inspiration from personal introspection, contact with remnant living mystical traditions from Europe, folklorists and other informants, literature and research, from the spiritual presences that even ancient peoples knew, named, and revered... and finally from our travels around the broad world that we all share.
Our journey has led us here, to create books that inform, challenge and delight the mind that seeks for curious lore and the obfuscated wisdom of the ages.
We are the "publishing arm" of the Hollow Hill Fellowship, a group of people in love with all things folkloric and mystical from Europe's pre-Christian and post-Christian past. We are the channel by which writer and modern-day proponent of Traditional Paganism Robin Artisson publishes his various literary and philosophical efforts.
Indo-European Mystical Visions
We have published a single title in our "Indo European Mystical Visions" series, a series which focuses on reconstructions of Indo-European Germanic and Celtic pre-Christian mystical arts and practices. Our published title, HELSONGS , a complete manual of Northern Sorcery, including Rune-Sorcery and Seid-work, is available here. Within a few weeks, Robin's first-ever written manuscript will be brought to life in its first volume- "The Flaming Circle", a reconstruction of the religious beliefs and pre-Christian spiritual worldviews of ancient Britain and Ireland. Helsongs
HELSONGS is a manual of the Sorcery of the Northlands, for serious and dedicated practitioners. It is a guide to experiencing the Rune-powers, the great Mysteries of the Northern peoples. It is also a manual for the practice of Seid, the mysterious sorcery of the Vanic powers, an earlier form of trance-based mystical practice that was found in the dark forests and mountains of northern Europe.
Helsongs discusses inner Rune Cosmology, the three master Runes of the Rune-sorcerers, meditations, Ond manipulation, creating galdrar, workings to manipulate the Rune powers into causing transformations in the web of Wyrd, and creating talismans and consecrating or protecting physical locations.
It gives an introduction to Seid, as well as a reconstruction of its practice. It also goes into the dreaded secrets of Trullskapir, the sorcery of enlisting nature spirts and powers to various ends. Appendices cover the basic Heathen religious rituals.
