About the Author Paul Kekai Manansala is an independent historian with formal journalism training. He has previously published The Naga Race through Firma KLM in India, and has published numerous scholarly articles for books, peer review and academic journals, and popular magazines and newspapers. A resident of Sacramento, California, Manansala has traveled to distant parts of the world conducting research for his writings. He also has written political commentary, mostly for international and ethnic publications, for nearly two decades including contributions to The Statesman (India), Philippine News, Saudi Gazette, Arab News (Saudi Arabia) and Philippine Pacific Examiner.
