An Open Bible
What could possibly prompt someone to brutally take the life of another whom they, more than likely, knew at least in passing? And for what? All evidence indicated that it was because of the victim’s faith in God. And Detective Rachel Prince’s gut instinct told her it wouldn’t be the last murder in this close-knit town.
Is Rachel ready to lead an investigation into a murder that could (if her instincts were correct) very well be the first of many? Will the past life she left in Chicago haunt her present and end her future? Lock your doors and windows. Don’t go out alone. There’s a murderer on the loose in Quinton!

Walking In God's Armor
I wrote this peom in September 2001, following the 9-11 attacks. As our country mourned and our military men and women went to war against the terrorist, I felt God urging me to write this poetic prayer. This poem has been featured on many websites, read at many memorials, and printed in several newspapers. The background image is my own creation.

Speak Through Me
A few years ago, I went to youth camp as counselor for a group of girls. As with most teenage girls, there was drama, and I spent the majority of my 'free' time in the chapel asking for guidance and the words to reach these precious girls. Thus, this poem was penned.
