Peter G. Epps

Beginning as a self-taught programmer, avid reader, poetry enthusiast, preacher's kid, and sometime philosopher, I have been privileged to watch an interesting and varied career emerge as God's blessings, good teachers, good parents, and my efforts have been shaped together. I've taught for several years during grad school, travelled to Europe as Graduate Assistant to Baylor Study Abroad, and taught for three years in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, Japan. I'm finishing a PhD in English. (see my CV for details.) Upon completion of the doctorate, I hope to find a good teaching post for several years, building my church home and creating opportunities to travel abroad, especially to Japan, where I hope to live and to bring others from home (sending their counterparts to study/live in the States!) in the long-term future.
