J. A. Roberts
Hello. Welcome to my storefront; if you love science fiction or good literature, here it is. I would take it as a personal favor if you would review things once you've read them. Enjoy (and don't snatch the cool bits out of my books for fanfics or anything, I worked very hard to think this stuff up.)

Facility: a Novel of the Future
There are two laws in the Coalition that encompass all others:
1. Androids are subservient to humans.
2. Clones do not leave their facility.
And all runs smoothly in the Northern Coalition, except for anomalies such as Lucifer 001 and 002, the two androids who destroy the lab in which they are built and escape human jurisdiction by fleeing to Old City--and the young male humanoid clone 163, who unlike all others of his kind resists utilization.
And there are others, too--the dangerous female assassin android named Sorcha, and Ita Mackenzie the cyborg, and Enthrey, the damaged EnClone whom the others rescued.
The resistance is growing.
And the Minister of the Northern Coalition is not pleased...

Ops: The Sequel to Facility
Doctor William Harrison, the Northern Coalition’s foremost expert on cybernetics, gets more than he bargains for when he shows up at Tiy and Lucifer’s Ops looking for material for his paper on android intelligence. For one thing, neither he nor they have forgotten the two android’s escape from, and destruction of, the lab. For another thing, he was Matthew Mackenzie’s best friend, and Ita Mackenzie, newly married to Enthrey, can’t bear being reminded of the old life she escaped. And thirdly, Sorcha has no patience for prejudiced humans, and Doctor Harrison is nothing if not prejudiced.
And Lucifer has his own suspicions. For there is something not quite right about Doctor Harrison. And Lucifer is determined to find out what it is, no matter what the cost…

Coalition
When Lieutenant Commander Sephir escapes from the Border, he has only one mission: contact Tiy and let him know that a strike against the humans would have the android militia’s complete support. But when he reaches Old City J-19, and Commander Esten’s base, he hears a new word: diplomacy. It is a word Sephir does not find acceptable. For he is a combat android, and what use is diplomacy to a combat android?
In the meantime Doctor Harrison has problems of his own: working with Enthrey on the EnClone project, maintaining a delicately-balanced relationship with Sorcha, working his demanding job, and, hardest of all, trying to raise his twelve-year-old son…

Slow Burn: Esten's Story
Esten. Philosopher, visionary, scientist: soldier, criminal, ruthless killer. The youngest commander in the history of the Northern Coalition militia.
After five years of fighting his way to the top in the post-apocalyptic Border zone, Commander Esten has lost many things, among them his compassion and his ethical certainty. Among the things he has gained is the conviction that he is destined to be shot for insubordination, and the absolute determination to change the human-android relationship before he is. His friend Nephil, with him since the first day of activation in the lab, is the only one who can take his mind away from the perpetual fighting of programs within him, a battle that scars his positronic brain and causes tremors in his hands. But when Nephil is killed, ordered on a suicide run by their human superiors, Esten discovers something: revenge is a very logical emotion…

Vendetta
Very few people know what Doctor Alan Opton is capable of, but Harrison is one of them—twenty years ago Opton headed up a project that Harrison was on, a project that quickly turned into an inhuman nightmare. Now Opton is back—and Harrison wants revenge. But will his obsession with vengeance take him too far?
In the meantime Tiy is training for his lieutenant commandership, with none other than Commander Esten—and the more he learns about the Commander, the less acceptable the Commander’s actions seem. Esten is ambitious, autocratic, and hungry for sheer power. There is a dark side to him that most people are not aware of, but which is becoming steadily more visible to Tiy—as is the realization that although he is ostensibly being trained for promotion, the Commander’s motives are far deeper and more sinister than that. And with the Commander, whose every seemingly innocent action has the shadow of something more ominous overhanging it, one can never be certain of his motives…

The Continued Casebook of Sherlock Holmes
Sherlock Holmes is back, in this collection of short stories written in the original style of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Narrated by the inimitable Doctor Watson, the tales are those briefly mentioned in passing but never expounded upon. There is the case of the Remarkable Worm, which concerns a journalist apparently driven insane by a mysterious package, and the case of the Hidden Blackmailer, in which a highborn lady falls prey to a villainous plot. And why is Colonel Warburton afraid of the pennies on his doorstep? All this, and more, you will learn in the Continued Casebook of Sherlock Holmes.

The Torment of the Mind: a Sherlock Holmes Novel
Watson has known almost since he met his friend that Holmes’s past is a dark one, something he never refers to except in the grip of cocaine, or nightmares. And Holmes prefers it that way. His childhood, the people of his early years, are dark specters in the back of his mind; the violent, crippling mood swings that plague him are partly the results of the torture he was subjected to. And if he has his way, he will never face his past.
But Watson is beginning to piece the facts together—and realize that his childhood is not the only truth Holmes has hidden from him. And when Holmes is called on by the beautiful Charlotte Marshall, the woman who broke his heart in University, and asked to save her husband from the hangman, events may very well spin out of control…and Holmes may be forced to decide whether to finally confront his past, or lose what he values most.

The Eidolon of Night: A Sherlock Holmes Novel
It is a month after they have returned from Cornwall, and Sherlock Holmes and Watson are tentatively trying to maintain the deeper level of friendship they began to experience while away on the Cornish coast. So when a new case presents itself, Holmes jumps at the opportunity.
Little does he know what he is letting himself in for. For the client is none other than Helen Morrissette, heiress to one of the greatest fortunes in England and a renowned beauty, and the mystery is none other than a suicide that feels suspiciously like murder. Complicating matters is the fact that Watson seems much more taken with the fair client, and she with him, than is proper for a mere business association…
Watson, drawn along into the investigation, finds himself growing ever closer to Helen Morrissette. With his friendship with the jealous Holmes on the line, he must make a decision: which kind of love, friendship or romance, does he value more?
