LIGHT–Introduction to Optics and Photonics by Judith Donnelly (Three Rivers Community College) and Nicholas Massa (Springfield Technical Community College) provides an introductory overview of optics principles and photonics applications suitable for beginning college students, high school juniors and seniors, technicians, managers— anyone who wants to learn about optical science and photonics technology at the algebra/trigonometry level. The text has been edited by technical experts, field-tested in high schools and colleges and includes applications chapters by industry professionals.
