Pitched well for Salem-Keizer Volcanoes... compiled a 3-2 record with a 2.42 ERA and three saves in 19 outings. Had an excellent season pitching for Augusta (Low-A) in 2006... made 14 starts and four relief appearances and totaled an 8-2 record with a stellar 1.80 ERA. Over 85 innings, walked just 17 compared to 71 strikeouts. Started the 2007 season with the class A-Advanced San Jose Giants and was promoted to the Double-A Connecticut Defenders after posting a 5-1 record and a 1.93 ERA.
