Postmortem Remains was the brainchild of Jackson NYC and Butch Meathook ( James Garvey ) in the late 90's. It was a mix of poetry by a few different writers and had interviews (Nuclear Rabbit and Serj from System of a Down) amd very minimal reviews. After only two zines produced it faded away with time. As of the middle of 2006. I (jackson nyc) opened up my past notebooks and publications to release a compilation of my writings. Since my best works appeared in PMR I decided to name the book with the same name. Book 1: The Morning After was released in September of 2006. As of December I released the follow up PMR Book II: the blood within can control puppets. This was a 3 month personal project I undertook just to see if I still had it in my heart. I then realized this was my favorite project out of them all. The Search was on to find Butch which actually wasn't to hard since we have mutual friends, and work began on a new issue.
In March of 2007 we started off issue 3 filled with writings from James "Butch" Garvey, Jackson Nyc, Jim Beck, Joe Alaimo, and Kenneth Adams.
