This is a book of visual poetry, or “poems for the eye” in the free-spirited, tradition of Fluxus. There are 38 full page visual poems. Accompanying each of the 35 non-textual visual poem is a haiku or senryu. The haiku are not based directly on the visual poems, and the visual poems are not illustrations of the haiku, but the associations between them add another dimension to the work.

Flux You! Some Poems by Allan Revich

Flux You! Some Poems by Allan RevichFlux You! Some Poems by Allan Revich (book)

Hardcover Print: $39.98

This book is a collection of poems written in several styles and forms. The poems were all written at the dawn of the 21st century and bear a distinctly postmodern sensibility. Some of the poems rhyme. Most do not. Some use language in a natural narrative manner, while other poems explore language and text as media to be experimented with. The influence of Fluxus is evident throughout. This hardcover edition contains a bonus poem not available in the soft cover edition, and has received some further editing. It is suitable for public and private library collections.

Sounds Like Fluxus

Sounds Like FluxusSounds Like Fluxus (CD)

Disc: $17.99

Sounds Like Fluxus is a collection of audible artwork by Allan Revich. All of the work on this CD is based on Fluxus. Audio is a perfect medium for the expression of the Fluxus attitude. Audio art is intermedia, it occupies space like sculpture, but without actually replacing any of the space that it occupies. Fluxus audio simultaneously functions as poetry, sculpture, music, and art. The work on this CD is meant to be listened to and enjoyed on many levels, and it can be enjoyed on any level. Whether enjoyed as a serious intellectual pursuit of artistic esoterica, or simply as a collection of funny sounds.
