Horror and Fantasy writer, R. Vance has penned many poems, several short stories, and one novel.
She has one novel and a collection of poems available here at Lulu.
Miss Vance has been published in the magazine, "Twisted Dreams" and its sister magazine, "Worlds Within...Worlds Beyond" by owner, Andrea Dean Van Scoyoc.
She currently lives with her family in Oklahoma. Her second novel, "Dies Irae," which is a Fantasy work, will be available sometime early next year.

2008 Mar 12 Several months ago, for some unknown--and very annoying--reason, all of the reviews I had for "Vampires Don't Exist"/"Dead Seed" were deleted. I obviously had nothing to do with it (there were 20+ reviews--all positive), so I'm assuming it was a glitch in the system.
I was quite annoyed...and devastated.
I complained to Lulu about it, but never got any kind of response, so, now I need everyone's help:
If you have read "Vampires Don't Exist" or its revised edition, "Dead Seed," please help me out and leave a review for my book. The review doesn't have to be overly praising, or long, or "professional" (unless you want it to be), just describe what you like(d) or dislike(d) about the story. All I ask is, if you have negative feelings towards my book, please be constructive and mature about it (in other words, don't write something lame like, "you suck!").
Also, please give me some stars when you write the review, lol. However many you think the book deserves.

I've spent ALL day working on this; I think I'm going insane. INSANE!

2007 Dec 03 That's right! It's finished. I decided to change the title even though I got a few requests not to. Not because I don't value you guys' opinion or anything, but because I received some good advice from other people. They believe I might be able to attract more people to the story if it has a fresh title. I do agree with them, but since I also respect my first fans, I left "Vampires Don't Exist" in the title, just beneath the new one. VDE is now "Dead Seed." The new title is totally relevant to the story, so don't worry. The new VDE is now ready to be ordered by anyone. I don't guarantee the grammar/punctuation and writing style will be perfect (whose is?) but I do guarantee it's a lot better than the first edition put out and I'm sure all of you will love it.
