Michael Callaway

This is a work of fiction that tries to answer the question of how and why Lucifer fell. The story starts off before Lucifer is ever created, we are introduced to a character named Legion, Legion is a collection of many spirits that long ago choose to start their own religion and has lived in isolation ever since. Legion meets Noketer, a cherub who is having trouble coping with the demands of his society and wants more out of life. Legion makes Noketer an offer that he can not refuse, if Noketer will allow the collection of spirits to indwell him he could be the greatest cherub their ever was.

Free Down Loads

Michael Callaway in Rise of Lucifer Blog
Sunday 16 of September, 2007
I am very pleased with the fact that I have sold 52 copies however I would like to get more. Of the 52 people that have bought my book only one was a down load. In order to increase visability I have made the choice to have free down loads until I reach 100 books sold.

My thought is this, once you read the down load, I think you will want to have the paper copy in your hand. If not, it did not cost you anything and chances are you would not have bought anyway.

Feel free to send me your thoughts about the story, good, bad, and other. Email at riseoflucifer@yahoo.com

Buying Rise of Lucifer

Michael Callaway in Rise of Lucifer Blog
Saturday 21 of July, 2007
In a previous post I said that you should not pay more then $2 for shipping, well, mail rates have gone up, now it is closer to $3. The system now defaults (I think) to the cheaper mail. Also, if you buy more then one copy the cost goes down in terms of shipping per book. The more you buy, the more you save.

The down loan version is still just $2 with no shipping cost, I personally could not read something that way, but, if you want to, more power to you, works out the same for me, $1.50 per book.

Right now I am at 51 sold, would I like to have sold more? Sure, but that 51 is a diverse group. I have sold it to Christians, Muslims, Bahi, Jews, and Agnostics. Therein forth, I can say that it has universal appeal.

Update about sales

Michael Callaway in Rise of Lucifer Blog
Wednesday 06 of June, 2007
When I said I was approaching one million some people misunderstood what I meant. I have not sold 600,000 or 900,000, more like 50. However, when you consider that I started at zero and now have 50 I am approaching one million. It is just very slow.

Approaching One Million Books Sold

Michael Callaway in Rise of Lucifer Blog
Sunday 29 of April, 2007
Yes it is true, “Rise of Lucifer: Legion” has been selling and I am quite pleased. My thought was to try to make the story be both interesting and have some kind truth reveled in it. No one knows how or why Lucifer ever came to be or if it is simply an allegory that describes good and evil that all face. Anyway, if you would like to buy the book and do not live near me, simply go to www.lulu.com/riseoflucifer or www.riseoflucifer.net, make sure you do not pay more then two dollars for shipping.

myspace

Michael Callaway in Rise of Lucifer Blog
Saturday 07 of April, 2007
Well, I am using myspace for the first time. I am trying to do two things, one, let people know that the book is done. Two, try to help people with writting their own book. One thing that I have to do is find a way to not let the title scare people. "Rise of Lucifer" has caused some people to think that I am a Satanist. The cover is scary by design and I also choose not to have any disclaimer on the book. I just did not like how it looked and how it could take away from the story.

Hopefully using myspace people can get to know me and know that I am not a satanist and that it will be OK. If you want to see my blog go to www.myspace.com/michael_olivia

Rare editions

Michael Callaway in Rise of Lucifer Blog
Monday 19 of March, 2007
For those of you who ordered the book before today (3/19/07)you have a distinguishing feature. The table of contents says “Some One Else Was Listing Too” instead of “Some One Else Was Listening Too”. This will make your books very rare and in high demand in the future, enjoy your millions. lol
