Carpal Tunnel is from the shoulder- most of the time! Muscle spasm reduces circulation and gravity pulls the swelling down (dependent edema) to the wrist. Yes, there is carpal tunnel, secondary to a shoulder problem. This shoulder problem cannot be imaged with X-ray or MRI since it is a muscle spasm. Best of all, massage therapists, PTs and Doctors can learn to fix this problem!
