The vocal samples were taken from a scene in an old VHS film depicting a prisoner who hopes to connect with his mother back home as they both look at the moon. Lahams voice is transformed in numerous ways throughout the piece as he is heard asking, to see the moon, weeping in regret of the past, and singing lines of despair: Im frightened; frightened that Ill spend my life behind these walls.
