Sanguinarius Publications
Greetings. I am the founder of Sanguinarius.org for Real Vampires / Sanguinarius: The Vampire Support Page and #Sanguinarius the IRC channel (chat room) on dal.net, the Vampire-Discussion elist on Yahoo!, and the "VCMB" message forums, among other resources. I've also written a number of articles and information for my and others' sites. I was one of the early online vampire resource providers and helped network many groups and individuals early on.

You've come to the right place to order books, and soon, other publications from Sanguinarius.org. You may need to check to make sure your Lulu account settings allow you to view mature content (not enabled by default).

The Dictionary of Sanguinese: Terminology and Lingo in the Vampire Community, Second Edition

The Dictionary of Sanguinese: Terminology and Lingo in the Vampire Community, Second EditionThe Dictionary of Sanguinese: Terminology and Lingo in the Vampire Community, Second Edition (book)

Print: $13.95

Download: $4.50

An indispensable guide containing all the common jargon, slang, doublespeak, plays on words, etc., used by real vampires to converse with one another, either privately or in public. With so many real vampires "coming out", or at least reaching out to others, there are many who just discovering there's a wide community out there, both on and offline. Many new vampires are unfamiliar with "vampspeak", and as such, use inaccurate or inappropriate terms they have been exposed to in popular fiction, movie, or role-playing games; or they use specialized terms only they, and possibly a small group of fellow vampires, have come up with. Unfortunately, though they may be quite real, this often makes them seem like posers, or ignorant. This lexicon should be an excellent guide and introduction to much of the terminology used; it is not intended to cover the highly specialized terminology and jargon used by specific groups and houses. This edition includes over 60 new terms not contained in the previous.

He's on his way back home. He sounds good. They don't know what was wrong but he's better now. he thinks it was because he was taking some outdated medicine that was crucial to his survival and didn't realize it.

You've got a scrawny little tail under all that thick fur. *pets* YOU are scrawny under your fur, anyway. If I shaved off all your fur, you'd be a scrawny little rat! But I love you anyway. *pets some more* You're a scrawny little rat, but I love you anyway. Wait, what am I talking about? You're a cat, not a rat! Silly me... *pets* You being a rat, what was I thinking? *smooches Socks on the nose* You're pretty little ra--er, cat. *Socks hops down and runs off to play with Scooter*

My dad just called. He's on his way to the hospital ER to get a blood transfusion. He went in for a doctor's appointment today and the doc made a test on him and it was really extremely low. And the doc told him to go to the ER immediately to get a transfusion. So he called me while on his way there to let me know.

He will keep me posted, he said. But I know how he is and he probably won't call me; I'll have to call him to find out. Same difference, though.

Most likely, putting off plans for my mom's birthday 'til later.
