  Looking Up From The Dark is my first fiction book, written under the name of Amelie Clark. Is a fiction book that is pulled from fact but purely fiction. It is an interesting book about how self healing can come from a serious, life threatening situation. The end of the book has a few short stories written as an adolescent to an adult, fiction. Some are dark writings and some make you smile. Thank you for taking the time to look at my books.

  HERE IS AN EXCERPT OF THE SEQUEL TO THIS BOOK, NOW KNOWN AS THE "EMILY SERIES" BOOKS.
  As I sat on the couch, watching Josh and Louisa play a game on the floor, I couldn’t stop myself from thinking of Willy and how he was missing this and didn’t even know it. I had to get those thoughts out of my head!
  Where did that come from? I was getting good at putting thoughts of Willy out of my head for years. This was a milestone. Our little girl was
  starting school. I wonder if I could home school her? I laughed to myself because I knew that Josh would give me that tone. Our little girl was
  going to public school. There was no doubt about that. I was getting good at mimicking him. There were times Louisa and I would mimic him in private and have quite a giggle about it. What an influence I was.
  That was Louisa and I, joined at the hip.
  Yup, leaving her in that kindergarten classroom won’t be easy. “Off to bed” I shouted “ our little kindergartner!” Louisa came running and used me as a stopper thingy. (Whatever you want to call a stopper thingy.) I gave her a big hug. Josh came up behind us and Louisa jumped on his back and rode to her bedroom. Josh promptly plopped her down on her bed. She bounced once or twice and enjoying every minute. She crawled under the covers, tucked herself in and then asked THE QUESTION. The question we had all been dreading.....????
  

• Big Oil in Small Town America

  This is such an important book. Just recently we have received calls from Wisconsin and Alabama asking for help with their oil and gas issue. We want to help but we have very limited funds. With writing this book we were hoping to have some funds to help those people and get the word out with the book. Please help us by purchasing the book! jaime
