The central character, Commander Alec Fincham, is an ex-Royal Marine who is now an operative for the Special Boat Service. He has been hand picked by the Head of Special Operations, within MI6, Sir Charles Cunningham, to become a troubleshooter for the UKs Security Services.
His missions are the most dangerous and unorthodox. He, and his team, will be sent into harms way again and again to take down those that threaten our society.

The six books all revolve around the same characters. However, each is a stand alone novel. It may, however, be beneficial to read them in order of:- The Barcza Gambit, Sicilian Defence, White King, Zugzwang,Octopus Knight and then Medusa Defence.
