Download: $4.00 Everybody is going green and saving the earth now. We’re all trying to use less plastic and reuse more things in our lives. Well, here’s another way for you to reduce, reuse and recycle.
You are looking at my new, big, roomy shopping bag pattern, which includes a FREE bonus pattern for the smaller bag. I like to use mine for my produce at the grocery store, but you could use them for your regular shopping, or even as a book bag. I use the smaller bags for tomatoes and other small or fragile veggies like apples and ripe avocados. The cotton yarn is great for absorbing the water that most grocery stores spray on the veggies. Just pile them all in to the bag.
Both bags are made with cotton yarn and size J and I crochet hooks and are crocheted in the round using SC, HDC and DC. Finished bags measure about 17" x 6" x 4".

Download: $4.50 I've had many people email me and tell me, "I bought your Scurvy Pirate pattern, but I made it into an anime' character I like," or "I bought your Boy Wizard pattern and made it look like C3PO!"
So I thought, if people are going to be so creative on their own, why not make it easier on them. So I made this basic character doll pattern. This is not exactly the same pattern as the pirate and wizard – I’ve made the head separate from the body for this pattern. But otherwise, it’s all the same, just the basics!
I used acrylic, red heart super saver yarn and a size G hook. My finished dolls all came out about 9 inches tall or around the size of a Barbie doll.

I'm not sure having a sock monkey guarding your tape measurer is the best idea in the world. After all, tape measurer's tend to get in enough trouble on their own. The monkey's right ear hides the tail of the tape measurer. Just press the center of his back and the tape curls back inside!
All you need to make this pattern is a round tape measurer (about 2 1/4 inches in diameter - or across), and 10 mm sew-on google eyes. I used Lion Brand's Wool Ease yarn and a size G hook. I used VERY small amounts of yarn to make these, so it's a GREAT stash-buster! A quick, easy project for those who need instant gratification!!
Finished items not recommended for children; a)if you use google eyes, they can be chewed off and pose a choking hazard; b) my kids have broken more tape measurers than I care to remember by pulling them as far out as they can and then some.

Download: $4.00 When my sock monkey obsession first began, I thought, 'I bet it would be easier to knit a sock monkey than to sew one.' But I could not find a knitted sock monkey pattern anywhere on the web. So I set out to design a pattern myself.
This is my version of a knitted sock monkey and I think it's pretty darn good!
I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn for this monkey pattern, and size 6 needles, and it is knit flat, but it would be super simple to knit this on DPN's. The finished sock monkey is about 20 inches from head to toe.
BTW, in case you were wondering, I find it is about the same degree of difficulty to sew or knit a sock monkey...

Download: $4.00 Based on my sock monkey knitting pattern, this is a pattern for making an approximately 21” tall cuddly puppy dog. I used Lion Brand’s Vanna’s Choice acrylic yarn, and size 6 needles. The pattern tells you how to knit the puppy flat, but it could be easily modified to use DPN’s to knit in the round and avoid the seaming.

I used Caron’s Simply Soft and size 6 needles to make this cute pink and green bunny. Instructions are given for knitting the project flat, but it is super simple and could be easily converted to knit on DPN’s. The finished sock bunny is approximately 20 inches from head to toe.

Download: $4.00 The hat that got me into the crochet "business" in the first place, The Sassy Hat, is now available for you! This pattern is sized for an adult, but could be made to fit a child by using a smaller hook.
These hats are very warm and oh, so soft. I've had people tell me that they wore these hats while skiing and their heads were the warmest part of their bodies!
All you need to make this hat is a worsted weight yarn (a wool or acrylic or a blend), a fuzzy yarn and a size N crochet hook. These are so easy to make you can whip one up in a couple hours!!!

He is made from Lion Brand Wool-Ease (it was the closest brown I could find that matched a sock monkey's color), but he could easily be made from Red Heart acrylic yarn.
His finished size is about 5 inches, using a G hook with yarn mentioned above.
