We have not yet reached to the uttermost parts of the earth. There are still regions beyond to which we must go. Pioneer missions must still be a major factor in our missions planning and strategy.We have come a long way and our current situation stands on the foundation of the sweat and blood of true heros of the faith, heros such as those of whom the book of Hebrews says “the world was not worthy.” (Heb 11:38) The gospel has probably gone into every country of the world. While we are trying to reach the world's majority people, we must not neglect to reach the smaller peoples. They need missionaries, they need churches, and they need Bible translations in their mother tongues. This booklet is more than information. It is a call to arms.

It uses statistics, history, and the Scriptures to show that it is God’s will for us to get involved in meeting this need. Statistics show us the extent of the need and where in the world the greatest challenges lie. History allows us to trace the footsteps of God in His guiding the church to translate the Bible into many languages. Has God shown, by His actions, that Bible Translating is a priority in missions? The Scripture reveal to us God’s plan and show us that it is truly His will that the Bible be spread over the globe in the various languages of man. God has laid on us a responsibility to accomplish this task and He has given us the blessing of being involved. BPSGlobal is a Bible believing Baptist mission ministry. BPSGlobal continues the tradition that the several Bearing Precious Seed ministries have begun by expanding the ministry to global printing and Bible translation. Our goals are to increase the number of Received Text based translations of the Word of God, to have those translations printed globally in the best way available, and to advance church planting and translating among unreached people groups.
Steve Combs is an ordained Baptist minister and a CPA. He has a number of years experience in business and has spent about nine years as controller of a mid-sized non-profit charitable organization. He is a graduate of Cedarville University. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Covington Theological Seminary. He has served in numerous ministry capacities. He has been a youth pastor in Springfield, Ohio and an associate pastor in two churches in Dayton, Ohio. He was pastor of a Baptist church in Vandalia, Ohio for several years. For some years, he served as a teacher and then as academic dean of a Bible believing Baptist Bible institute.
