	The evidence from near-death experiences and from Cases of the Reincarnation type indicate that the Mind is not simply a product of the brain. Mind precedes the brain, and manifests itself in innumerable individual minds. Each brain filters Mind and convinces its owner that he is an independent entity, but the brain filter can break down under certain circumstances. The result is a mystical experience such as a near-death experience.
