South La Brea Studio offers workshops, seminars and publications about selecting the right fit performing or visual arts based college program, audition and portfolio preparation, as well as, exhibition publications about the artwork of Kavin Buck.

KAVIN BUCK: Has been a nationally exhibiting visual artist for over 20 years and is currently the Director of Enrollment Management and Outreach for the School of the Arts and Architecture at UCLA and adjunct faculty at Santa Monica College's Art Mentorship Program. He received his BFA from Otis College of Art and Design, and MFA from California Institute of the Arts, and completed post-graduate work with the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program in New York. In 1990 Mr. Buck received a PS-1 Museum Studies grant and has served both on the executive board and as president of the Western Association for College Admission Counseling. His artwork is represented by LA Contemporary Gallery in Los Angeles, California.

ED SCHOENBERG: Has a background in music and theater. He is the Vice President for Enrollment Management at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, California. He has served in admissions, financial aid, student affairs, and enrollment-management positions at nationally recognized liberal arts colleges, a state-supported research university, and comprehensive universities over the past 34 years. He received his BA from Whittier College and his MA in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
