Washington is a... ..."National Treasure", ..."the father of His country", ..."The Man for the Millenniums", ..."The World's Apostle of Liberty", ..."America's Original Action Hero", ..."The Caped Crusader for this Constitution", ...and America is truly the "Land of Washington" from Sea to Shining Sea! ***GW*** Take time to learn about Washington as the "Man for the Millenniums" - the most important man in the world in the past one thousand years (a tall order, but I can share with you why that is true!) in an educational and entertaining way by buying some information items about George, so one may say, "By George, buy George! " P.S. The reason why GW is the "Man for the Millenniums" is because all time is measured from the Birth of the Lord Jesus, B.C. and A.D. (though modern skeptic so-called scholars deceptively use B.C.E. and C.E. that still measure time as the Common Era, from the Birth of Jesus Christ, that is the Christian Era.) and because GW daily prayed to include the wise words: "Direct my thoughts, words, and work... daily forge me more & more into the likeness of thy Son Jesus Christ...". If each of us were to pray daily to be more and more in the likeness of Jesus Christ, what a GW - Good World this would be! ***GW***

In the Year of Our Lord 1778, General George Washington wrote to his distant cousin, Brigadier General Thomas Nelson, Jr. of Yorktown, commander of the Virginia Militia, discussing the many evidences of "Divine Providence" in the course of the War for Independence, yet then wrote, "... there will be time enough for me to turn preacher after my present appointment ceases..."
GW's "present appointment" was as General and Commander-in-Chief. Above you see the "Spirit of George Washington the Christian" preaching at the Grace Covenant Church in Charlottesville in November a.d. 2006 for the Governor Jefferson Thanksgiving Festival hosted by Providence Foundation. Also in a.d. 1778, General Washington wrote to Brigadier General Nelson to say in effect, "Do not place your men at Yorktown, it is NOT defensible." Those GW wise words in a.d. 1778 were prophetic to the great "Yorktown Victory in Jesus" on 19 October in the Year of Our Lord Jesus 1781. There is a report that the British during the Surrender March played the tune "The World Turned Upside Down". Note that Acts 17:6 says that the early Christians turned the world upside down. This band of early Christian Soldiers of America's Revolutionary Army turned the world upside down by defeating the mightiest army on earth, the British Army, and "revolved" Jesus back up on top. Over 5 years before on 9 July in the Year of Our Lord Jesus 1776 in New York at the first reading of the Declaration of Independence to the Revolutionary Army, General Washington wrote: "The General hopes and trusts that every officer and man will endeavour so to live and act as becomes a Christian soldier..." "Onward Christian Soldiers Marching as to War With the Cross of Jesus Going on before... Christ the royal master Leads against the foe See His banner go!" ~ ~ and in another verse ~ ~ "Lift high His royal banner It must not suffer loss!" --words from a favorite American hymn! The Rallying Cry of the Revolutionary Soldiers was "No king but King Jesus!" And the rest is, as folks say ~ His-story! P.S. CROSSings: All Across America Journey with Jesus, by George! Prayer Pilgrimage When on the front lines as a Christian Soldier many attacks are suffered. Yet, the good Lord provided a 22 seat Church bus in Sheridan, Wyoming, when in Gillette, Wyoming some bad folks sabotaged the transmission of the GMC Suburban that had been the "GW Tour-Mobile" while "GW Lives!" was teaching on the Christian Faith of the Founding Fathers in a local church on Mothers' Day. With a "Necessary" in the back and eight seats converted to a "berthing space" this Church bus became sort of an "RV", and a rolling billboard! As the brother of Jesus wrote in James 1:2: "Count all joy your trials and tribulations..." On 3 April a.d. 2003, this Church Bus "GW Chapel on Wheels" was stolen from my home at Potomac, Maryland. Other bad folks on 1 April a.d. 2003, in broke into my home office to steal three computers on which were six (6) books nearly completed on "this Constitution" (1), Thomas Jefferson (2), and George Washington (3). One of the three George Washington books is "PRAYER WARRIOR Washington Prayer Book - Work Book - Picture Book". Others are a revival, or reprint of the a.d. 1919 classic "George Washington the Christian" by William J. Johnson of Macalester College in Minnesota. The other will be a revival of "Washington Day by Day" with a Book of Common Prayer addition to the Elizabeth Johnston work to be "Pray with Washington, Day by Day". The Thomas Jefferson books are "Thomas Jefferson the Christian" compiled by this author from other works, mainly those of Jefferson. Jefferson wrote (from my memory, so may not be exact herein): "My opinions are very different from those anti-Christian sentiments attributed to me by those who know nothing of my opinions... ...I am a Christian..." The second Jefferson book is "Fiddling Around: Brother Randolph Jefferson and his fiddling with Hemings" to correct the errors of Mrs. Annette G-Reed, in her high sensationalism, low scholarship book as a smoke screen at the time of William Jefferson (Bill) Clinton's Impeachment and unsuccessful Trial. The one page Study Guide to "tHis Constitution for the United States of America" on its Bible Basis is the core, the "gold nugget" of that lost book on "tHis Constitution". Had I then known about LuLu.com, the loss of "intellectual capital" would not have been so huge. Replacing 3 computers, or even replacing a GW Chapel on Wheels can be done in time and through donations which are the blessings of God by way of His Children, yet the "works of the mind" are nearly impossible to replace. (By the way, for the Bicentennial, President Ford signed a bill passed by Congress that George Washington would forever be assigned one more star than any other past or present General or Admiral, so now GW is a Six-Star General, thus ***GW***! )
