A personal log and descriptive account of a 24 day journey taking a yacht through the rivers and canals of the France from the Mediterranean to England. The subject of this book is a journey by boat, the yacht Jade. It is based on a written log taken at the time and should give the reader a modest insight into the river and canal life of France. Our journey although twenty four days long was only a whistle stop tour of a small section of the canal system. During our travels we met many individuals from a multitude of different countries who having got the canal bug, and sold their homes, now spend the majority of their lives on the canal system. The book contains over eighty full colour photographs.
