Disc: $5.99 Slane is a celtic/folk/acoustic band that has been able to forge its own path in the indie world, recording a few self-done tunes. Highlights on this demo are songs like "The Dawning of the Day," which Slane front man/guitarist Sean Tandy dubbed "the stairway to heaven of the irish music world" back in 2004. Another hit is the Old Polina, done solo by drummer/vocalist Tim Keeley. Slane is a mix of old world style and new world energy, but it doesn't mean they don't relax on a few numbers like "Buchaill On Eirne." This is a must for any celtic enthusiast.
