Near the end of the millennium, a young man known as Ugly Pete escapes from the Willow Crest treatment facility and begins a journey of spiritual deconstruction. Joined by a ragtag group of disillusioned nihilists controlled by Johnny Aristotle, Ugly Pete dives headlong into a downward spiral of murder, mayhem, and, ultimately, love.
