Sails are furled. The two ships slow and come to a halt next to each other. Lines shoot across. A gangway extends from the blue yacht to the white trader. Muscular sailors carry goods across: Guns, heavy artillery. Closed boxes.
White teeth flash in laughter. Lines are untied, sails unfurled, the gangway retracted. The two ships veer apart, the crew of the yacht singing loudly. A pirate flag flies from the mast of the blue ship. They disappear into the twilight in opposite directions, six hundred sea miles off Dakar...
Radomir Lascek, Captain of the Solar Wind, is in trouble. What did he think he was doing, hiring those three teen Irish musicians, the Donegal Troubles?

In a large house on Samoa, a fat, red-haired man pored over a console, his watery blue eyes sagging with fatigue. The Solar Wind had suddenly disappeared off the screen, and no matter what he tried… it was a Bermuda triangle effect. Had the ship been swallowed by a rogue wave?
Two data capsules tell an evil story of what the Unicate plans. Both the Unicate and the Rebellion want those capsules - but they are in the possession of Radomir Lascek of the Solar Wind.
Hunted by both these forces, Lascek scrambles to keep his Solar Wind alive. But things explode in his face, and he is forced to move. Shattered, Lascek launches his own Master Plan – too early.

A beautifully manicured red fingernail ticked against the map, twice. The image on the touch-sensitive screen augmented. A small white sun on the far end of the Spiral Galaxy zoomed into view.
Oval pupils narrowed to slits. The fingernail ticked the screen twice more, bringing the planets into view. Yellow eyes checked the date, the time, the positions. The grid was nearly ready for aligning.
It was time.
Radomir Lascek, Pirate Captain of the Solar Wind, is out of his depth. And on top of everything his crew is beginning to plot behind his back...

Federi whistled as he piloted the plane out of range of the base’s radar.

Is the girl, who has been groomed for captaining all her life, capable of taking the Solar Wind all the way to Ginavis without her father - or any of the senior crew - aboard? In the midst of chaos, attacks and insubordination, the job of keeping it all together falls to Federi...
And while he rolls his dramatic eyes, Paean Donegal, who doesn’t like ambiguities, arms up and signs up for hero craft!
