Download: $3.63 This is the Downloadable PDF version of the 5 String kantele plans from the Kantele Making CD. You may need to play with the settings of your printer to get the printout right, usually if you use adobe reader, set at 100% you should be ok. Some people with very high definition printers found they had to lower the print quality to get a clearer printout.
If the plans are out of scale by a small fraction then I wouldnt worry, one of the nice things of making an open strung instrument is that you have more freedom with measurements and stringing,
To use the plans Simply Print these off onto tracing paper using your own printer, match up the printouts and tape together! I have left a big overlap to cover different paper sizes and also to aid collating the drawings.

Download: $3.63 This is the original version of the kantele Construction guide I supplied with my 5 String Kantele guide, before it was was expanjded and became a CD_ROM. It still presents the basics of construction and stringing, though you will still need the plans if you intend to build(see other download for both combined, or the separate 5 string plans or order the Complete CD from me!)

Download: $10.00 The preview edition has a very short video introduction, with an e-book that includes the full plans for the Stick Dulcimer plus mould and templates, but only the first few chapters outlining the tools, materials, using the drawings and making the mould. If you do purchase this either as a CD or download, you can have the same ammount you pay taken off the finished first edition in the spring.
In order to unzip this file you will need a free piece of software called 7-zip from www.7-zip.org.
Once you have installed this program it will unzip it automatically for you!
This Downloadable version can then be burned on to Cd following the instructions supplied to work as a CD_rom

Download: $2.27 This is the small 5 string Piccolo Kantele plans from my new Kantele Making CD, If you have bought the older version of the Cd this extra plan will complete the family of instruments. This instrument sounds in D an octave higher than the standard 5 string, and is useful for accompanying the standard 5 string in group settings, also as a travel instrument. This zip file contains the two drawings in pdf form and the text page about the instrument. please see my Youtube videos for how to play this instrument. Thankyou for your purchase. You will need a zip file opner(www.z-zip.org is free) and a pdf viewer like the free adobe reader 8. When printing as with my other plans it must be set to no scaling and at 100%

Download: $5.44 These are the plans from the Stick Dulcimer making CD, available separate for people who have made other instruments and also for those following my online video making series, To unzip the drawing just use the free 7zip program, and use adobe reader to print off at "no scaling" 100% size, If you can use tracing paper the prints are easier to collate, otherwise a lightbox, or with care a window can be used. email if you have any questions!!
