Captain Richard Taylor, Cherokee Chief, lived in the northwest Georgia Appalachians where he was an interpreter and legal witness to several historical documents in the mid 1800s. His family name lives on as the western horizon of Armuchee Valley and the inspiration for Taylors Ridge Publishing.

Deep within the ridge, a strip of iron ore stretches for thirty miles, but mining attempts by the early 1900s bustling towns of Farley and Shackleton eventually proved to be too difficult and unprofitable. The towns disappeared, and Taylors Ridge is now part of the Chattahoochee National Forest. Also, Cherokee legend tells of secret silver veins within the ridge, but now Taylors Ridge Publishing digs for literary treasure to bring forth to the readers of the world.

Pennies on the Tracks
PAPERBACK
Danny Lee Ingram.... Dangling from a rope in an Appalachian cave or trembling from vertigo on a canyon ledge, wrestling a chain-scarred boulder or arguing with a wily Leprechaun, Ingram's short story characters bring to life humor, challenge, regret, and hope. After decades of procrastination, a field worker finally decides to attend his high school reunion. Another character seeks understanding of a journey into the Southern river wilds to evict its backwoods inhabitants. In contrast, some stories deal with the laughter in life, such as a frustrated student who never seems to have the correct time and an inebriated musician tackling an unfamiliar delta dish. These stories are sure to bring chuckles and tears, reflection and foresight, and you'll find yourself reading them, sharing them, again and again. Glass Cuts the Shadow
PAPERBACK
Danny Lee Ingram.... Images prevail in this book of poems, poems that stimulate the senses and range from haiku to blank verse to free verse on the cutting edge. Break-ups, reality checks, and tongue-in-cheek humor all present sharp edges that cut through the mask, pierce the skin, or tickle the fancy.

Reviewers International Organization:
Poetry emerges from crystallized perception of one's immediate world which becomes a singular story for both writer and reader. That in turn engages and elicits more perception and more story. Glass Cuts the Shadow does just that, leaving a multi-flavored appreciation for the endless variety of living experience.... Unique in kind, each poem in this short collection promises to awaken your shadow and gently or firmly cut to clarity and change. Fascinating!
