I'm Eric Langberg, a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh aiming to get a Fiction Writing degree. My entire life, I have loved to put words on a page. I have always promised myself that I would publish a book before finishing high school, and I found Lulu the perfect way to do just that. I collected what I considered my best short stories written in the first 18 years of my life, most between 2006 and 2008, and published them in "i was here," my first book. Since "i was here" was published, I've been slowly working, building up more stories and revising old ones for a future collection, which I hope to publish some time in very late 2009. To see what I've been working on lately, check out www.fictionpress.com/~andfound815. Some of my most recent works have been posted there. Fair warning: there's also a lot of old stuff, stuff that didn't make it in the book... which means I don't consider it my best work. I'd appreciate any support you can offer by purchasing a copy of "i was here." All proceeds go toward my college fund... and hopefully I'll hear from you in the future!

Artist Graham Harding passed the woman in the white overcoat on his way to get coffee one cold morning in early February. She was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen, and he knew at once that she was the one. But when he turned around to find her, she was gone... Newlyweds Hunter and June Banting have just purchased their first house, over the Internet no less. When they finally arrive, ready to begin their lives together, they discover that the house has a dark past... The hitchhiker stands by the side of the road, thumb cocked warily, almost afraid to be picked up. The driver who offers him a ride soon realizes that this young man has a terrible secret, one he does not want to part with... These stories and more can be found in "I Was Here," the first collection of short stories from young author Eric Langberg. These stories have been called "emotionally amazing," "mystical and wonderful," and "touching" by reviewers on www.fictionpress.com/~andfound815, Eric's web site.
