Print: $9.99 Download: $5.99 As a close witness of the battle against cancer, the author of "Teat-Fruit: 10 Things You Should Know About Cancer" worked hard to understand the mechanisms that erupt this illness. Trying to avoid the many damages that it had already caused to her loved ones, as much as recovering their strenght and supporting them to find the light in the end of the tunnel, she made several researches about the subject. Maybe she didn't have found the answer yet, but she does give many insights on self-reliance, helping in the difficult yet rewarding process towards the cure. All the author's royalties from this book will benefit breast cancer research, donation to breast cancer women organizations, education, therapies, outreach and awareness.

Print: $14.96 Download: $6.99 Off-the-wall characters happening in the closest wall, One Hundred One Accounts are real life events told in exactly a word count of one hundred one. I write short stories just for entertaining and reflecting upon, both for myself as to my worldwide readers. I developed a network long-time ago, participating actively in forums which exchanged facts about our very deep existence. So here I present to you, at first hand, some of my most truly, creative, and realistic scenes of ordinary lives with flesh and blood characters who, for some odd reason ended up having extreme situations or out-of-control turn outs to happen in their day-to-day. As this book is about long stories gotten short, mostly for economic reasons, it contains exactly one hundred one words (on each one). For how many quotidian stories we may find throughout the world? That's why I wrote this book based upon the absurdity of tales that occur into routinary lives.

Print: $15.95 Download: $7.50 A mitologia sempre existiu em sonhos quando adormecidos esquecemos da divindade que habita cada um de nós.
Eros é a força positiva cósmica que surge para integrar, unir. É a força que mantém o cosmos em ação.

Ana C. Antunes wrote poems and short-stories for an anthology by Mackenzie Publishing. She finished high school in “Translator and Interpreter in English” at Mackenzie Institute. She graduated in Arts with License in Artistic Education at the University in Sao Paulo (FAAP), in French at Alliance Française and in Ballet with honour in artistic merit. She attended the course of "Arts & Literature" at University IV (at the Sorbonne Building) and studied Theatre at the Maison de la Culture du Monde in Paris. She performed at the Opera Carmina Burana at the Opera House in Sao Paulo, with the Young Ballet of Sao Paulo, in international dance/theater companies, and worked as a staff member for the Metropolitan Ballet Theater in the United States where she also performed at the Theatres in Washington D.C. She attended courses in Transcendental Meditation at UCLA and dance at WAC (World Arts and Culture) in Los Angeles. She taught Creative Movements at the Montgomery College and at the Black Rock Center for the Arts, in Rockville and Germantown, also choreographed the play "Man of La Mancha" at Santiago College. She also illustrated many magazines, both as a model and artist. Her poems were published in National Literary Magazines such as "Mirante" (sept/2006), and on the ezine Aphelion (July/August 2007), her short-stories were published on anthologies, such as "A Thousand Voices" by Adventure Books of Seattle and Spiritual Visitations by Zumaya Publications. Her new book "Life is Too Short... Make it a Big Shot" has been recently released by the Canadian Publisher Divine Destinies.
Before she graduated from high school as English Translator and Interpreter at Mackenzie Institute in Brazil and finished her professional ballet studies Ana discovered her aptitude as a writer, writing poems and short stories, most of them later included in the anthology called MACK. Using also her drawing skills she created her own illustrations in some of her works as she did with the translation of Magia in 1990 (Editora Ondas), her first professional incursion. In 1989 and 90 she worked as the Art Director in a very well known advertisement agency where she soon realized this was not what she wanted for her career.
In the middle of 1990 she graduated from the University of Sao Paulo (FAAP) with a master in Arts. In the same year she moved to England where she studied Holistic Therapies at the Centre of Alternative Medicine in Southampton and to France where she studied French Literature at La Sorbonne University.
In 1995 she went to live in Los Angeles, where she rediscovered her interest for the Dance but from a different perspective, studying Dance from other Cultures (African, Hindu, Indian and other folkloric dances) at the World Arts and Culture. She also attended the course of Transcendental Meditation at the University of California and other similar studies to feed her other line of interest related to inner insights. Ana acquired in the US and Europe all the new knowledge she was looking for in order to start developing her true passion, writing.
She published her first anthology Spiritual Visitations by Zumaya Publications in 1998 when she was still living in California. Her writings can also be found in another anthology "A Thousand Voices" published by Adventure Books of Seattle and on the National Literary Magazine "Mirante" (2006) and on Aphelion (2007). Ana is currently living in Chile, South America from where she promotes her work travelling all over the globe to host and participate on seminars and other events where she is invited.
Ana's writing is considered one of the young values of the Brazilian new cultural wave. Her interest in other cultures and her international background has inspired her to produce very profound writings mixing the value of the world cultures, their similarities and differences, always looking into the intrinsic values and observing the mythology that influence each of them to the current days.
