What do we want from life.

If you want a friend, God is sufficent. Because if He is a friend, everything is a friend.
If you want a companion, the Holy Bible is sufficent. For in it you can meet with Jesus, Mary, Joseph, the prophets, the Saints and the Angles. You can watch them and become acquainted with them.
If you want possessions, contentment is sufficient. Yes, one who is content is economical, and he who is economical is blessed with plenty.
If you want an enemy, the evil that trys to command your soul is sufficient. Indeed some one who wants to fight evil, can certainly find within himself enough evil to spend the rest of his life batteling and defeating.
If you want advice, Death is sufficient. Yes, the man who thinks of death is saved from loving the world and the things that are in the world. He works seriously for his life in the hereafter.
