Aspergers syndrome & didn’t find out till he turned 25. At the time of writing this was 32 years old & had survived many years of silent suffering as well as more obvious suffering that affected others around me. There's all of it in this story, rejection,isolation, trying to fit in but not succeeding & so trying again & again to no avail.
There are stories about running & running & running & going round in circles… but there were some small successes in his life doing home schooling or correspondence & an interesting albeit spoilt upbringing in a middle class family. The story is about how it all started out ok but ended up going terribly wrong & how this young man came out of it eventually, or did he?
This story was written in an attempt to assist those people out there directly affected, or who knows someone affected in some way by autism or Aspergers syndrome.
