Welcome to Waxed Tablet Publications - the publishing arm of the Fellowship.
In ancient times, a board covered with a thin layer of bee's wax served the same purpose as the slate and chalk of the American Colonial Period. This wax tablet was cheaper than paper, and could be reused many times. Lessons and letters were often delivered on these tablets as missionaries wandered the countryside. The Fellowship has adopted this centuries old custom, using a more durable Waxed Tablet to further the Kingdom of Christ.

Print: $9.95 The “worship wars” of the past few decades have taken their toll on the Church of Jesus Christ. While some good has been accomplished, in loosening up and expanding worship forms and styles, much that is not good is also in evidence. In worship, as in all aspects of the life of faith, we must seek what is “fittest,” that is, what comports with divine expectations and directives. But such a view of worship, and all it requires, does not come naturally. The purpose of this little book is to assist worship leaders and church members in understanding the nature, elements, and practice of worship according to the principles and precepts revealed throughout the Bible.

Print: $13.66 The reading and study of God’s Law is foundational to understanding all of Scripture. In a very real sense, all the Old Testament beyond the Law of God is an elaboration or explanation of that Law, so much so, in fact, that the New Testament can speak of both the books of the prophets and the sacred writings as the Law of God (cf. 1 Cor. 14.21, Jn. 10.31). And when we consider that Jesus came not to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it, and that those who trust in Him are called to walk as He walked, this makes the reading and study of God’s Law important for a right understanding of the New Testament as well.

Print: $10.68 How would you respond to the suggestion that failure to live like Jesus in the daily ethical situations of life may well indicate that one’s profession of Christ is unproven, and whatever service may have been rendered in His Name may actually be in vain? How then must we react to the ethical and moral crises around us? As the Instructor and a Disciple tackle this question, we come to understand that following God's law in the daily practice of our lives is essential to our walk of faith in Jesus Christ.

Print: $9.99 Poetry thrives on tension, like the earthquake faults that run beneath the earth. The better a poem succeeds at bringing its own pressures and forces to bear against those of its reader, the greater is the likelihood that a thoughtful, passionate interaction will occur and issue in satisfying and perhaps transforming effects in the reader.

Print: $10.97 Patrick, 5th century missionary, evangelist, pastor, and church leader about whom everybody knows something, but hardly anyone puts much stock in the anecdotes and tales that surround his name.
Patrick was perhaps the greatest saint of the 5th century, although he consistently referred to himself as a sinner and a rustic, lavished upon by the grace of God, chosen, appointed, and sent to a work beyond any of his contemporaries’ wildest imaginations, a work in which he largely succeeded. Here is a story of great faith and remarkable blessing that holds rich promise for believers.
