Will and the Soaring Seed

Hi. My name is Devin D. Boone. Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., I am an intern architect in Hattiesburg, MS. However, for the past two years, I have been wholeheartedly and relentlessly pursuing my dream of publishing a children’s book. Both of my parents stressed the importance of education, and at the tender age of 16, I was accepted and attended the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. I was a National Achievement Scholar and went on to obtain my Bachelor of Architecture degree from Florida A&M University. Doctors discovered that I had a crippling condition called hydrocephalus, and shortly after graduation I underwent three tragic brain surgeries to correct the problem. Giving all of the honor and glory to God, I fully recovered. I was able to take away more than just a good testimony and a few scars. I was inspired to write Will and the Soaring Seed to let little boys and girls all over the world know that, in spite of your circumstances, you can be whatever you want to be. There are no limits. It doesn't matter if you live in a mobile home out in the country or low-income housing in the inner city. It doesn't matter if you're raised by a single mother or by your grandparents or by foster parents. You can be whatever you want to be. Dream BIG, and work hard to make those dreams come true.
