Colin Sidney-Wilmot is both a painter and a sculptor as well as a writer and a founder of Bussana Vecchia, about which a British documentary arts film is currently in production and many articles have been written, in papers as diverse as the New York Times, London Daily MaIl, Express and the Independent. Since restoring his house, or rather rebuilding half of it, in this historic village overlooking the Mediterranean, and bringing up his son, as a single parent, he has spent more than 5 years researching 5th century Britain. As The Raven Flies is the outcome of that research.
