Top Gun Management

Top Gun ManagementTop Gun Management (book)

Print: $13.50

Gene McVay brings a diverse background as a factory worker, Intelligence Analyst at The National Security Agency, a global qualified aircraft commander on the C-141 Starlifter, a career fighter pilot and commander of a three billion dollar multinational provisional wing followed by a test of the political waters as a candidate for governor running against presidential hopeful, Mike Huckabee. Tighten your G suit and prepare to become a better manager as you enter the poignant human world of an old veteran as he relates principles that propelled him upward through the ranks to power and respect. No head of state or chief executive officer is so high that they can afford to stop learning. No arsenal is so complete that a secret weapon can be discarded. No repertoire is so perfect that it cannot use some spit and polish. The book is not about perfection but persistence and compassion. Few soar to the very top, but you can enjoy the journey and unashamedly feel contentment when the battle is over.

This book was made to share with others who maybe able to relate to it. I have been writing for most of my life and decided that I should collect some of my favorites and publish them. The one thing that motivated me most to put my words to print was my daughter. The event of loosing her to SIDS inspired a few of the more potent poems in this book.I hope some of these words let others know they are not alone in many struggles throughout life.My goal is to offer my heart to others through my words. In doing so I intend to donate an amount of this book's earnings to the American SIDS Institute. I believe there is a cure to this awful disease and no one should have to loose a child from it.I appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read this book and I hope that in some way my words have inspired you.

After his father’s suicide in the summer of 2006, author Brian J. Martin was faced with the grim yet undeniable reality that mental illness runs in his family. As a teenager, in fact, Brian suffered from bouts of severe depression and nearly took his own life before beginning the long journey to recovery through faith, hope, and love. Rather than continue the tradition of silence, all too familiar to so many families, he decided to share his experiences with hope that others may find his light a guide. In his first book, Martin (primarily a screenwriter) expounds on his conviction that the theological virtues are not just a respectable model of Christian living, but an essential truth of human existence that intrinsically point us to community with God and each other.

Country lawyer Cameron Scott's week begins with a nightmare and ends in a hornet's nest of betrayal and intrigue. A small group of mid-level bureaucrats has formed a secret alliance to quietly restructure the U.S. government from within but a power-hungry cadre, intent on changing the government through violent revolution, has seized the organization and quickly eliminated its founders.  Like weeds in a garden, they have spread through the government. Cameron crosses paths with the shadowy organization, and an equally shadowy FBI agent, trying to find out why his court-appointed client was murdered in the jailhouse, and suddenly finds himself in their crosshairs. When he learns that the treacherous group and a raging category five hurricane may both center their destruction on his coastal home town of Riverport, NC, he is forced to fight time and nature to seek and destroy the organization before it destroys him.
