Of all my songs, this is the only one any one of my friends seems like. Whenever we watch television and we see someone who has not been on television in a long time, my friend John sings "Whatever happened to you?!" So I guess this is my "top 10 hit" as it were.

I really like Yoko, and I've always wished that I could be as devoted to someone as John was to her (er, if you leave out the "lost weekend') This is one of the few songs (a ballad) that I've put any "effects" on. The guitar is distored with flanger and... some other effects that make a guitar sound more like a synthesizer. And I put effects on the vocals too, for your added listening pleasure.
